Our little Crab!!

Tanner was in the school play the other night. He got the part of a crab. Looks like he was having fun. I must admit, I was a little disappointed though. It was all of the second grade classes here in Sahuarita, which I believe is about 7. Most of the classes got to be center stage to sing and dance for one number. Our little crab merely crab walked across the stage. However, in the music teacher's defense this is only her second year and you learn as you go!!! Besides, you can tell by looking at Tanner he did not care. He loved being the "best" crab ever.
I must share my crab making experience with you. First, and foremost, I am the worst seamstress you will ever come across. So naturally I put off any sewing that has to be done until the very last moment. So this was no different. (I really should learn :>) Anyway, we are rushing to finish Valentine's, working on homework and I am sewing. Of course, I am about half way done and the needle on the machine breaks and the machine jams. That is okay, I am used to this kind of drama. So I spend 10 minutes unjamming it and start looking for my spare needles. What!?!?!!? I cannot find them. I just saw them a couple of days ago, but where was that? Oh well, I call my neighbor to see if she happens to have any, no such luck. But not panicking.... ( okay , maybe panicking a little) I decide that I can finish it by hand. I did manage to finish, still get dinner on the table and make it to the play in time. Just imagine two years from now when I have four in the school play and I need to sew four costumes. Holy cow, I should get started now!!!!! Have a great day, my friends.

Update on our friend Mr. Graham. They were able to do only a five bypass instead of seven. That is awesome news. He has a long way to go but is doing well and progressing each day. Thanks for the prayers and keep them coming!!!
