Calgon cannot begin to take me away!!

Now for the record, I know that our kids live up to what we say about them, that being said, these two identical boys ARE MY TERRIBLE TWOSOME!!!! They have so much energy and together they will give you a run for your money. Cassie and Bryan try harder to make sure they are not in trouble. But with these two as ring leaders you never know what to expect. Yesterday being a perfect example. We do not have preschool on Wednesday's so I do my best to entertain and keep them busy and out of trouble. Not so much. Jay is on night shift this week . So when I went to exercise he said he would watch them. Great!!!! I came home, he was showered and ready to go. I thought that was awesome! Clearly I would be able to turn the tv on and sneak into the shower too. NOT!!!

They were playing ever so nicely outside, so I decided to get a head start on dinner. In they come running as fast as those legs will carry them. "We are going to play upstairs," they holler as they fly past. Hmmmmmmm..... that does not sound good. So I quickly head up the stairs after them. And what to my wondering eyes do I behold..... they have their screen out and one is half way out the window to the roof. (something they were playing with landed and, of course, they are going to get it). I nearly died. So I close and lock the windows and as I am trying to calm my heart, let them understand that I am not kidding that is a absolute unacceptable behavior. Back downstairs we all go. Next, I decide we need some clean clothes so I am in the laundry room and again notice it is a bit too quiet. I head to the kitchen to see what they are up to this time, they are trying to light paper towels on fire with the gas stove?!?!!?!? Are you kidding me? Again, I am scolding. Within minutes I hear them laughing their little butts off... they are now outside trying to light the gas grill and "build a campfire." Oh I wish I could tell you it stopped there, no.... they had rock throwing contests at my neighbors windows to see who could get the rocks the farthest, let's see who can throw more rocks faster into the pond, let's see how big of a toy we can flush down the toilet, can we get on top of the fridge and jump off, and what happens if I pick the bunny up by her back legs. So, I ran around all day long just trying to keep up with the little devils. I was so thankful for bedtime and trust me it did not come fast enough.

But the story does not end there. The house is quiet, almost eerie after my day, I decide I am going to relist some stuff on craigslist so I need some pictures from my camera. Well....... as I am looking at the pictures I realize that Daddy did not get off scott free while I was away for an hour. He just did not know what was going on. 100 new pictures on my camera. Yes, I kid you not. I had pictures of walls, dolls, each other and one that had me laughing so hard I nearly died. A lovely naked butt shot. I do not know who's darling little butt it is (no one will fess up this morning) it will make nice blackmail in a couple of years. But seriously, I thought I had until they were about 16 before they would start mooning the camera. HAHAHAHA. I would post the damaging evidence, however I may end up in jail. :>

And before I end, I have one more cute story. One of our biggest pet peeves with our yard is the pond. It is lovely to listen to but horrible to keep clean. We had just cleaned it out AGAIN...... and I see Nathan over there putting something in. I head over to see what is going on and redirect him. He was putting red goldfish crackers in there as fast as he could. I told him to stop immediatley, "but mom fish die if they are not in the water". Now how do you argue with that logic. I had to smile and just walk away.

Have a great day my friends, and don't be surprised if one day you visit and I have my velcro room installed. :>
