Cassie Mouth Surgery!

OUCH!!!  Poor little girl!!  Cassie did not have enough gums on the bottom teeth to keep the roots covered so she had to have a graft today.  She was a real trooper.  They merely, numbed her up and took skin from the roof of her mouth. 

And grafted the skin to the bottom teeth.  This is the bandage they made for her from this putty like substance.  She was very brave!!  I was very proud of my little one.  I think the most horrible part for her..... the numbing process.  She held my hand tight but survived it all.

Then my poor little girl got whacked in the eye with the seat in the van.  I am very afraid that when the pretty little girl wakes up she will have a black eye.  I guess we will not be going many places this weekend.  Whew.... glad today is over!!!  Way to Go Cassie Girl!!!!
