Keeping my head above water!!!

Here are Ms. Shadow 10.5 years old and Mr. Trigger about 6 years old. Ya know the nice thing about animals is that they cannot talk back, they never tell you that "you are not my friend," or "I don't like you," or my favorite lately, "you are the meanest, meanest, meanest mommy in the whole world." And yet two minutes later I am their favorite and they love me forever. Kids are a handful!!!! :>

As you can see we are making great progress on the bathroom. Luckily, the laundry room has been working now since Friday they have to finish sanding and painting. The bathroom upstairs has been really hard to work without. It makes our bathtime, bedtime ritual a little bit more difficult. I will be glad to have our house put back together but also to have the privacy and not have people in and out all day long. It makes the kids crazy, which of course makes me crazy. :> (Becuase we all know I am compeletely sane all day long otherwise. :>)

So I have been extremely sleep deprived since before Jay left for deployment. However, it has gotten far worse. It seems like there are never enough hours in the day to do what I should do let alone what comes along with the holidays. So I have been burning my candle at both ends. Well this morning it caught up with me in the worst way. I have felt yucky for two days now and after dropping Tanner and Hunter off at school, we worked our way home. The quads do not go to preschool on Wednesday's so I knew we did not have to rush. It is early day as well so we don't lay down until around 2ish. Well I plopped a movie in for them to watch and out I went for the count. Cassie would come by and pat my cheek and ask me if I was okay. But I could hear the boys doing things they were not supposed to be doing but I was so tired there was nothing I could do about it. Yes, they found all the presents again. Now check out that closet. they were searching high and low and found them. But Elizabeth and I outsmarted them, at least they were wrapped. LOL. But doesn't it remind you of the "Where is Waldo" books. Seriously, what convinced them to continue back there? I would have given up for sure.

This is a package we put together to send to Daddy the other night. the kids all got to pick what they wanted to wrap and they did it all by themselves. It was hard for me not to want to help but they did a great job. They all signed their names on his stocking and we put lipstick (yes, even the boys) and kissed the stocking for Daddy. I think he will love it. He will get "real"Christmas upon his return but this will be fun nonetheless.

Well my friends, I know that this is short but I am worn out and Hunter and I are off to the doctor tomorrow to get his cast off. Yeah!!! Sleep well my friends and thank you for checking in on us. We appreciate you.

I wish we lived closer! I am sitting at home with no kids and would love to help you out with your kids. I would totally take them for ya so you could rest. Oh man I want to cry for ya. I hate being a sick mom, "sick" I mean not feeling well. :) Gees I hope you get feeling better! I am going to find out who your Relief Society president is and have her send some ladies over to get your kids. You deserve a break. SERIOUSLY!!!
